Working with our regional implementation teams and clients in the later phases of projects to ensure a smooth handover from the implementation team to the Customer Services team.
Developing in depth knowledge of products and customer systems. Promoting knowledge of Products locally and transferring knowledge of customer systems to other departments.
Analysing and troubleshooting customer issues that arise with Customer systems, having the experience and ability to create solutions
Managing and tracking releases to customers
Establishing rapport and building & maintaining good relationships with clients
Providing Cloud Support services, in conjunction with our DevOps teams.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
Applications: - MS Office, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome)
Apps: - JIRA / Atlassian tools, Text Editors
Cloud: Experience in supporting AWS based systems – EC2, Ansible, RDS, CloudWatch
Databases: - DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat
Fluent English & language skills
Strong Japanese language skills would be a benefits
Be professional, articulate and reliable, with well-practiced client facing and communication skills including a proven track record of engaging as a technical leader in a software/consulting services supplier role with client organizations
Ability to work with remote teams and customers
Excellent documentation skills in the form of high-level technical requirements, architectural descriptions, interface specifications, etc.
Strong technical leadership skills with a deep technical background
Customer & quality focused
Basic knowledge of network (IP, routing, load balancing, cluster), hardware (CPU, memory, hard disk and the impact to system performance)
Experience of Java frameworks: spring, hibernate, Angular, maven
Knowledge of the life insurance industry a benefit
Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies (primarily AWS, with Azure a benefit)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies
